Welcome to the web site for the Quarter Midgets of America's "Racing Rascals" quarter midget club. Quarter midget racing provides youth ages 5 to 16 the exciting opportunity to participate in a competitive environment  in specifically designed cars for kids. At small oval tracks across Washington and into Canada young racers learn skills, rules, sportsmanship and safety unique to racing.

Our season begins in early April and extends to late October. The race track is located  just outside of Yakima, Washington on the grounds of Renegade Raceway. Feel free to join us on race days for exciting action and fun for kids of all ages.

RRQMA

CLUB TIRE RULE

It is the policy of the RRQMA club to follow the Region 9 spec tire rule, however the RRQMA club will not be marking tires at club races.  This means that all competitive classes running on race days may only run Hoosier A35 or A40A RH side tires, but the tires can be new or old for any race.  You may run any brand or compound of tire on the LH side of your car!  No other right side tire will be allowed on the track.

This rule does not apply to Novice classes.

REGION 9

NEW TIRE RULE FOR 2010

For the 2010 season, the Region 9 Series will have a spec tire rule requiring right side tires to be a Hoosier A35 or Hoosier A40A tire. In addition all cars that start the A Main event will be required to run the same set of right side tires that were used in the heat race or qualifying. The spec tire portion of this rule will not apply to the Novice classes and neither rule will apply to the Region 9 Series race at the I5-QMC event on the dirt track in Elma.
